Directions to Old Hall Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in Bongate, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria

DIRECTIONS TO OLD HALL FARMHOUSE
From the South:	Leave the M6 motorway via junction 38 at Tebay. At the roundabout turn left onto the B6260 and continue for 12 miles through Orton to reach Appleby-in-Westmorland. At the outskirts of Appleby the road bears right uphill. At its highest point the road bends left at the large column in the middle of the road, leading into our magnificent Boroughgate. At the bottom of Boroughgate near the second column the road turns right and crosses the River Eden. At this point, turn right at the T-junction and this is now the start of Bongate. After 1/2 mile notice the Royal Oak on the left. Continue a short distance uphill and pass a road on the left leading to Hilton and Murton. Continue ahead for 5 yards only and turn right into our small access road. Old Hall Farmhouse is on your left.
From the West & North:	From junction 40 on the M6 at Penrith take the A66 towards Brough and Scotch Corner. Continue for 12 miles and take the Appleby exit from the dual carriageway into Appleby-in-Westmorland via the B6542. When in the lowest part of the town see the River Eden on your right and notice the road bridge, but continue straight ahead. This is the start of Bongate. Now follow the instruction in italics in the preceeding paragraph.
From the East:	Take the A66 from Scotch Corner for 30 miles or so and bear left from the dual carriageway into Appleby-in-Westmorland via the B6542. After 1/2 mile pass under a railway bridge and, after a short distance, see the 30 mph sign. After 200 yards see our sign at eye level above the garden wall on your left. Turn left immediately after the second sign into our small private access road. Old Hall Farmhouse is immediately on your left.
